Our Beliefs

We hold to the founder’s beliefs of the Southern Baptist Convention and the Westminster Confession of 1646.  We belive in:

  1. The undeniability of Christ’s virgin birth, perfect and sinless life, perfectly blameless and innocent death, and resurrection from the dead on the third day as the Scriptures state.
  2. The infallibility of Scripture, the inerrancy of the original Greek, Hebrew and Aramaic texts.
  3. The ultimate depravity of man (that there is nothing good in any person apart from Christ).
  4. The power of the Holy Spirit in the production of spiritual fruit in the believer.
  5. We believe in the Trinity (God the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit).  One nature, three persons.
  6. We believe in accountability, that if man is left to himself, he will become no more than himself.
  7. We believe in the power of fellowship, that there is strength in numbers.
  8. We believe in the perseverance of the saints, that those who are called will answer and do so perpetually and with consistency.
  9. We believe in unconditional election, that we were dead in our sins and God in His grace and benevolence raised us from that death and revived us into the life of His Son.
  10. We believe in being hidden in Christ, that invisibility is an end goal for the saint so that the flesh has no appearance except in the body and mind of Jesus Christ.  We simply desire to make Him and Him alone famous to the ends of the universe.  That is our passion.
